CoCaLo Fall 2009 Stylefile Trend Report

It’s all about COLOR!

According to Pantone (www.pantone.com), subtle contrasts, like those found in the works of the master painters, make up the diverse color palette for fall 2009. CoCaLo designers place emphasis on translating trend colors into meaningful designs for the nursery.  The design team played with a broad spectrum of unique color combinations from the season, resulting in distinct, yet cohesive color palettes and unique designs.  Customers will find these fresh combinations that inspire a warm, optimistic and inviting sense of style in the newly released collections.

The CoCaLo Color Palette of the season:

  • Scarlet – a feel-good color.  It is loud and courageous as a fire engine.  It is the apple of our eye.
  • Orchid – a combination of red and blue.  It can spur the imagination of a child, yet soothe them to sleep.
  • Saffron – a playground for smiling little faces.  It is the sunshine that offers kindness and warmth.
  • Chocolate – a comforting cup of hot cocoa.  It surrounds us with love and familiarity.
  • Tangerine – reminiscent of an autumn sunset. Like a child; sweet, delightful, and vibrant.  It is the perfect accessory to nature’s landscape.
  • Blush – a daydreamer with a sweet tooth.  It is the little bow clipped to her hair.
  • Jade – a fresh breath of air, a way of life. It is a mother’s nurturing and a father’s protection.
  • Aqua – a free and truthful thinker.  It is as big as the horizon and as small as his first pair of shoes.
